We are the Lezcano’s!
As missionaries in Paraguay, we both have a passion for helping transform lives in the name of Jesus. Both of us accepted Christ as teenagers and have been heavily involved in church since. You could find us volunteering with youth groups, singing the church choir, acting or building sets in plays, and also participating in mission trips. God has called us to serve Him wholeheartedly in Paraguay primarily by tutoring at-risk children who live in poor, abusive, and neglectful areas. Our hope is to see their lives changed by not only meeting their educational needs, but also their spiritual needs. Each class we pray with the children, ask about their lives, and build that trust for them to share their hurts and what’s on their hearts. Through this trust, we point them to Jesus as their hope and savior.
We also have a love for discipleship and hospitality. We open our home throughout the week to those who seek friendship, encouragement, and to grow in their faith. It’s a joy to get to do what we do!
